Two-factor authentication (2FA) is not required for owner accounts in Buildium as owner access is view-only. Owners cannot update banking information for owner draws or store other sensitive financial data within the portal.
All changes to bank accounts or other critical information must be requested through our property management team. For added protection, all of our internal staff members are required to have 2FA enabled on their Buildium accounts to help safeguard your property’s data.
